2026 SSES Welcome Back Breakfast for Teachers and Staff
Monday August 17th at 8am

Join us as we welcome back our teachers and staff on their first official morning of the school year!

To help support them through those busy first days, we'll be providing a hot breakfast and restocking the staff lounge. This is for ALL staff members.  

Take a moment and look over the needs and consider where you can partner with us-- every contribution makes a difference.

17        Back to School Breakfast hosted by the PTA

20        Back to School Block Party 1-3 PM

24        Schools open for grades 1–5 

24-31   Staggered start for Kindergarten

September 2026

7    Schools & Central Offices closed. Labor Day.

21  Schools & Central Offices closed. Yom Kippur.

October

13    Two-hour early dismissal. No afternoon ECSE. Project Unity Day. Professional Development.

23     End of First Marking Period

26     Schools closed for all students. Teacher workday
