Message from the SSES Administrative Office
Dismissal Routine
As we prepare for an exciting new school year, one of our goals for the first day is to make sure EVERY student gets home and/or daycare safely. With that being said, IF your child does ANYTHING other than ride the school bus to his/her home address (day care provider, car rider, or AA County Rec & Parks-SACC program), please make sure your child as well as the school knows. You can email your child's teacher or Mrs. Akers (jakers@aacps.org).
Consistency is a vital part of our dismissal time. Every student should dismiss with the same plan every day. We do know that there will be emergency exceptions, but let us all strive for end of day consistency.
Morning Phone Calls
If you call the school in the morning before the day begins, please note that our phones will not be answered until 7:30 AM, when our secretaries arrive. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Change of Dismissal Routine
If your child is changing their dismissal routine, contact the office by 1:30 PM the day of the change so that the office is able to notify your child in time.
